This is one of the reasons why Dean's BL stone should really get classified
officially! This somewhat "wet" look of the crust does remind me a little of
achondritic crusts - eucrites, in particular, just think of Millbillillie or Stannern..

Equally interesting are those "achondrite-like" featureless areas totally devoid
of any chondrules or larger matrix clasts. Instead, they literally consist of thousands
of minute, colorful, marble-like silicates - mostly pyroxenes (judging from their colors).
