Hello listees,

I found a very useful and ineresting picture
in one of Marcin's auctions.

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110143358121

Scroll a little bit down to the huge etched endcut.
Note the left lower side of the etched surface.
It's full of cohenite worms and note how limited the cohenite is to only
this area.
That feature illustrates very well to the not yet so experienced collector,
why two smaller sections of the very same (IAB-IIICD)iron meteorite could
look so completely different, that one can be tempted to think, that they
have to stem from two different meteorites.

(Btw. the cast is really fine, one can have a lot of fun with it. A
Hollywood prop master couldn't make it so perfect!).

Best
Martin
