Thanks a lot Paul, I appreciate these information and more specially any report about Lake Bosumtwi as I'm now settling down in
Ghana and have already been several time at Bosumtwi.
As a matter of fact the first links didn't work for me; is there any problem?

Observation and Sampling of the Earths Continental Crust)
Newsletter has illustrated articles about recent research,
involving drillholes, at the Bosumtwi impact crater, Ghana,
and the Lake El'gygytgyn, NE Russia. The title of the
article are 1. "Results of the 2004 ICDP Bosumtwi impact
crater, Ghana, drilling project First studies of the deep
impactite cores", and 2. "Deep Drilling at Lake
El'gygytgyn, NE Russia in the International Polar Year".
