Years ago, when Ebay had a more open attitude and their clientele had access to more information, it was pretty easy to catch shill bidders red-handed. Now, unfortunately, that will be impossible to do with the names of bidders kept secret. The folks at Ebay won't have to deal with as many complaints from honest bidders (buyers) because they won't know when a dishonest seller is jacking up the bid. Something to think about.
