This is because around 6 am, that part of the earth is the leading edge as it orbits around the sun. While around 6 pm, it is that part of the earth that is the trailing edge. The earth then becomes a big shield for that trailing edge of the sky. Meteors you see around that time has to do a little catching up from behind to enter the earths atmosphere. Thus they will also generally appear rather slow. George Zay -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
