Hi again,

For those of you who asked about the fires, here's NASA's page. They've been
watching them for the past several weeks.

Subject: [meteorite-list] Comet McNaught report from Australia

G'day all,

Well tonight was the first decent night to get a look at the comet from
'Down Under'. I headed down to Melbourne's famous St. Kilda Beach to have a
look but alas there was too much cloud on the horizon. (The comet is chasing
the sun down at sunset here.) Some of you may also be aware that we've had
some of our worst bushfires this season and there's also a lot of smoke in
the air which doesn't help. Anyhow... on the up side... St. Kilda Beach
always does a great sunset!
