Greetings all, from not-so-sunny Tucson. We're having a rainy Gem Show
so far, but our many colorful visitors from around the world brighten
things up.

This evening, Steve Arnold and I visited the club where we hold the
party, and everything is a-okay. We had a couple of problems with the
venue, but everything is now 100% for this Friday. So, for those of you
already here, or on your way:

AND HARVEY AWARDS

Come help Geoff and Steve celebrate their joint birthday (Feb. 1),
along with all the other February meteorite birthday people who are in
town of which I can only remember Allan Lang and Mexcio Doug at the
moment, sorry : )

Party 'til late

This is the same venue as last year, but the name of the club has
changed. We also have a new sound system and lights, and some nice
redecoration. There is a full bar, but the kitchen is not open, so we
recommend getting dinner before the party. Please note, this is a
21-years-old and over event only. Sorry, the State of Arizona makes the
rules, not us.

With many first-time Tucson show visitors in town, we hope you will all
feel MOST welcome.

Dress up, have fun, meet meteorite hunters!
