The day before yesterday I could still see it naked eye, not as clearly as early November but still clearer than M31. It is almost 50 arcminutes wide now, so going towards a degree. Some of my pictures here: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com/search/label/17P%2FHolmes I think it will still be around for a while. Around Christmas it will be around 1deg 16' wide if the current trend of expansion continues. How bright it will be by that time, I dare not say. ----- Dr Marco Langbroek Dutch Meteor Society (DMS) e-mail: meteorites at dmsweb.org DMS website: http://www.dmsweb.org private website: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek ----- Received on Sat 01 Dec 2007 10:14:54 AM PST |
