I am hoping it will sell for a little more than 6 cents! Three days left and no bids yet. You can be sure this is a great buy. When the material was still being examined and was still being called an EL7, I had a large quantity and was cutting/polishing quite a bit. I sent to Ted Bunch (NAU) things that looked interesting or unusual, particularly the large chondrules. I guarantee 100% this material is what I say it is. It seems the quantity is a lot more than any one first guessed. The strewn field has been suggested to be 40 KM long. However much there is, it is still an Enstatite! The mix I am selling is part of the earlier individuals found on the surface. They were buried for a long long time but at least they have developed a cool individual "Look" which is better looking than the material that has been freshly dug up (at least to me). Most of the this meteorite is coming from what is being dug up. I'm just passing along an ad and the information I have. Please correct me if you know of circumstances different than what I am saying. And please look at some of the cool micrographs I have on my Meteorite Times Gallery of NWA 2965. http://www.meteorite.com/meteorite-gallery/meteorites-class_frame.htm Tom ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour Received on Fri 24 Aug 2007 12:26:54 PM PDT |
