Bricks are made from clay and usually pressed into a mold of some type for uniformity. The rock used to build the Meteorite Museum was sandstone found in the area. It varies in thickness and is cleaved to make the sizes needed for a particular application. I personally have a piece that shows a definite wave pattern.
