Nice specimen but not overly rare. List: I bought this meteorite months ago and just got around to cutting it this weekend, and surprise, it looks like a polymict breccia. What is interesting is that the metal is evenly distributed throughout the meteorite, but the mineral composition looks different. There are light colored clasts with rust stains, and also some dark clasts within a med-gray chondritic material. I would guess an H4 or so. Maybe the light colored clasts are achondric? That would be nice. Attached is a link with photos take a look and let me know your thoughts. Are these breccias a relatively common occurrence?
