Didn't it possess impact pockmarks? Yes. There's one of the Apollo photos clearly shows an ipact mark. A tiny crater in a large rock. I believe this shows that there's not likely to be much of anything left on the moon if it hits it. Statistically, if memory serves me right, lunar impacts impacts are rarer than Earth ones due to the weak gravity of the moon and not just it's smaller cross-section.
