Oktober 2006 17:44 An: meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com Betreff: [meteorite-list] nwa 4292 Hi list.For anyone who has not gotten a piece of OLD YELLER,NWA 4292,is either missing out or is nicely surprised by this unique chondrite.I have never seen a chondrite devoid of some type of fusion crust anywhere.I just received my 150 gram fragment and it looks a little like a piece of CORNBREAD.My piece has a small cut window and shows alot of metal.I am surprised by the L class.Oh well I did not classified it so it is a very fine specimen to me.And the price was just right.Thanks to adam hupe for making this and the 44 gram slice of MALOTAS available.Both very nice meteorites. steve arnold,chicago,USA!!
