The detailed report of the phenomena first established beyond doubt the fact of the fall of stones from outer space, J.B.Biot, M?m. Inst. France, 1806, 7, (Histoire), p.224; J.B.Biot, Ann. Phys., 1804, 16, p.44. Two complete individual ?L?Aigle? for sale: -L'Aigle meteorite, complete individual weighing 146.4g (60x45x35mm) (cut area 55x42mm) -L'Aigle meteorite, complete individual weighing 277.60g with the "old french label" :"Pierre tomb?e a l'Aigle 1803 / 9 onces 99" *Ivuna (carbonaceous chondrite, CI1) > 9.90g fragment with crust. -One of the biggest piece in private hands, a 9.90g fragment with crust of the very rare Ivuna meteorite, the CI1 type, size 35x25x15mm. No more than 220g in collection mostly in National collection (122g in Washington, U.S. Nat. Mus and 61.0g in New York, Amer. Mus. Nat. Hist). *Imilac (Pallasite main group) > 478g individual. -A rare oportunity to acquire a 478g complete individual of the Imilac pallasite from an old French collection with the label "Fer meteoritique, Atacama", size : 90x85x55mm *Allende (CV3) > 3.296kg individual. -A large 3.296kg whole stone with 98% fusion crust of the famous Allende meteorite, size 160x140x110mm *Weatherford (carbonaceous chondrite, bencubbin group, subgroup A). Oklahoma, Custer Co, USA. A 2kg mass was plowed up in 1926 and recognized as meteoritic in 1940, M.H.Hey, Cat. Met., 1966, p.515. > 10.15g part slice - A very rare piece of Weatherford, the US bencubinnite, with label. A nice end cut, weighing 10.15g, size : 40x10x8mm *Rumurutite Rumurutite R 3.8-6), rift valley, Kenya. The Rumuruti meteorite shower fell in Rumuruti, Kenya, on 1934 January 28 at 10:45 p.m. Rumuruti is the R chondrite type > 1.308g part slice. -A 1.308g part slice, size 15x15x2mm, of the Rumuruti meteorite. Only 67g preserved in collection! Probably no other pieces exist in private hand *ITQIY (Unique Primitive Enstatite Achondrite). ITQIY a "primitive enstatite achondrite" > 148.63g slice -A large complete slice weighing 148.63g of the unique achondrite ITQIY, one of the most beautiful achondrite, size 124x80x6mm *Winona (Winonaite, AWIN) > 32.20g piece -Winona (winonaite). This meteorite was found in a crypt constructed by prehistoric Indians in northern Arizona. A historical piece from the O. Monning collection (see: number #M231.3) weighing 32.20g, size 45x35x20mm *Campo del cielo (iron meteorite IA), Gran Chaco, Argentina > 106kg perfectly oriented -A very well preserved large (106 kg/233 lbs, size 400x400x250 mm) oriented Campo Del Cielo meteorite with partial fusion crust, one of the finest iron meteorite. The face of this meteorite is covered with regmaglypts which flare away from what was the lead edge of entry, a quintessential example of an oriented iron. *Morasko (iron meteorite, octahedrite coarse grain IIICD or IAB group), Poland. Eight associated impact craters are estimated to be about 3500-5000 years old. -A very well preserved oriented 9kg Morasko meteorite with partial fusion crust, one of the finest Morasko meteorite, size 200x170x130mm. The face of this meteorite is covered with regmaglypts which flare away from what was the lead edge of entry.
