Hello everyone I have moved to Northern California, I think I figured
out how to get this e-mail through to the list. (I hope) This is my
new e-mail meteoritefinder_at_gmail.com I sent a message to everyone in
my address book, but many of them did not go through. So I hope I will
get back in touch with some of you here.
On a recent trip to Glorieta I found a new 4 kilo Glorieta pallasite /
siderite. The reason I use both terms is that it is an oriented
(forgive me if I used the wrong term) nose cone. My guess is it came
off the main mass shortly before impact with earth. But it is also a
pallasite, my guess is maybe a kilo of it has (visible) olivine's in
it. I hope to post some pictures to photobucket soon when I do I will
post a link. Thanks
