The only meteorite that has so far been found in New Jersey is D e a l, an L6 chondrite. It fell in Monmouth County back in 1829 and surely doesn't look like a piece of slag. "a piece the size of a man's fist weighs close to 2 lbs. It's heavy!" Hello Listees, any ideas on such a hefty weight??? Bernd Received on Mon 23 Jan 2006 04:52:39 PM PST |
