Hi,
OK, so I am trying out this new auction site - if you recall I mentioned it
in a previous thread and got a mixed but overall positive response.

I have just listed my first 2 items - and not sure if I am doing it right -
but the bottom line is that it is less of an auction and more of a safe
haven for buying stuff as each category has a moderator. I was asked to be
a moderator for Minerals and Meteorites.

So, as I said, this is not about taking away eShop business from the
professionals out there anymore than eBay does, but to provide a better
environment to buy and sell in - at least that's the theory

Listing doesn't cost anything, and anything dodgy can be removed by me if an
email from me as mod fails to encourage the seller to either withdraw the
item or whatever was the problem.

I know there will be issues.... so please don't flame me! But what would be
nice is if some of you folks who put tons of stuff on Fleabay tried this
forum out just for a few pieces.
Remember - this is not about starting bids at $0.01 but as close to or at
the minimum price you would be happy to sell at - it'll take years to grow
(I hope!) but might overall be a better place for us.
