They can also be welded with a simple basic weld rod. If you mean solder, then use a EUTECTIC solder and flux. Flux well. Heat the joint from behind and let the solder flow into the space. Make sure your parts fit well (small to no gap) before attempting and do not overheat the parts. Dan Handmade Knives by D. I can only suppose it needs a special drill, but what ? 2. Weld onto a Sikhote Aline ? Here I guess it's a problem of temperature to create a good weld, and with what soldering material should it be welded ? Thank you very much for any response.
