Saturated images, due to its strong luminosity, were recorded by several CCD cameras in the Fireball Network in Japan, and now their data are processed. It maybe a member of the Capricornid meteor shower with the geocentric velocity of around 20 km/sec. If so, it is no meteorite dropping fireball. http://sonotaco.jp/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1080 Katsuhito O. Tokyo Received on Thu 10 Aug 2006 11:38:09 AM PDT |
