Mike, I thought you would have known better than to bring up politics on the list. But jeeeeeez.....
Dead babies piled up? A third world country? And where exactly did you see this....the History Channel?
Just remember, Huricane Andrew was in 1992, and the man who had dealt with that huge mess so well was his father.

This is unreal. I feel like I am watching news from Somalia or Kosovo. 5
days ago, one of America's cities was totally flooded and basically
destroyed. What did Bush do? Stayed on vacation another 2 days. He says he
can run the country from his cowless ranch? Yes, the photos and videos we
see of the old people, dead in wheelchairs and the dead babies piled up,
dead from lack of food and water and heat, the tens of thousands of people
trapped in a drowned city, that proves Bush can handle the country while
cutting brush for five weeks.
I was in the army when Andrew his Florida. Within 48 hours there were tent
cities of THOUSANDS of tents already set up. I guess having most of our
supplies, money and troops in Iraq might be why. 5 days after this much
worse storm, finally people starting to get out, after so many have died on
the downtown streets of a large America city!
Am I alone, or is this just acceptable to people? Bush has done nothing, he
is an idiot, he is in over his head, and he should resign. America, $3.50
gas and a third world country now. Iraq a disaster and the whole world is
watching one of our cities in chaos.
I was in Miami and Dallas airports all day yesterday, and believe me, that
is ALL everyone was talking about, and I didn't hear much sympathy for our
idiot commander missing in action.

Now I see that many countries have offered any aid we need, and Bush has
turned it down. How many more dead to soothe Bush's pride?
