Of course, those new individuals can have been kept somewhere for 3 years or even found later. I don't know how oxydation could have been after 3 more years in the Sahara for such a fresh meteorite, which depends on WHERE in the Sahara. Comparing slices' pictures of both meteorites does not show any difference on that point of view. Just a comment...
