I stripped the name of the sender, but if you are interested in the postion, I assume you are sharp enough to locate the proper person to contact. Cheers, Martin ______ Please excuse this form letter, but I would appreciate your help in locating a faculty member interested in the geochemistry of extraterrestrial materials. This is a position we were given to help us build up the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences, particularly as a center for extraterrestrial sample analysis, tenable in the geosciences department. We have also been given the funds to establish an analytical laboratory consisting of low and high resolution ICPMS instruments, and many other relevant analytical instruments are available elsewhere on the campus or nearby. Details are provided in the attachment, and I would be happy to answer any further questions. The center's website is http://spacecenter.uark.edu. This is an exciting time in space and planetary sciences at Arkansas. The center is growing rapidly, and the university is experiencing extraordinary inputs of private money as the region grows in population and importance. Recently, the university received the largest ever private gift to a public university, the fifth largest to any university, when the Walton family donated $300M. A recent fund drive netted $1B. Such a large sum for a small university means that the funds are affecting all units. Thanks for any help you can offer.
