Hello to the List.

Until recently, I learned that chondrites were the
oldest igneous stones in the solar system (4.56
billion years) as coming from undifferentiated parent
bodies.

A recent study on angrite Sahara 99555 concluded to
the fact that this achondrite was the oldest stone
ever analyzed.

It's a fantastic news. Can you explain me why this
achondrite (and maybe others) were formed before
primitive chondrites ?

Best regards,

Pierre-Marie PELE
