O.k. all meteorites are somewhat exorbitant, but this Sikhote-Alin is perfect. An early find, hence with that patina, every collector is desperately looking for. As found, absolutely uncleaned. - You know, that stuff torn out from the strewnfield during the last years, which was flooding the market, is all more or less brushed, sandblasted, etched, tumbled ect. My Sikhote is original. Superb regmaglyptes, 1st fragmentation. Size and shape of the regmaglyptes indicate a front and a back side (I'm not a friend of exaggerations, others would call it perhaps "oriented"). Is in posession of the collector since 15 years - remember, the first time Sikhote really appeared on the market was in the mid-90ies. And before in an institutional collection, but no labels preserved. Beside, that those original-patinated specimens are meanwhile horribly difficult to find - remember Geoff Notkin's Old Collection's Sikhote Sale, where the pieces were going fast - larger good regmaglypted individuals are meanwhile rare. In Munich on the show, I saw only one remarkable sized Sikhote left, at Erich's, that was all. The strewnfield is exhausted. Meanwhile the bulk offered are only shrapnels. Thus this specimen is a really rare opportunity to get THE Sikhote-Alin of your collection. Has 7kgs, Email me for pictures. Priced for quicksale: minimum 2500$ (or if so will say more...) + ship, paypal or bank transfer, tralala. For Rob Wesel only: minimum 3200$ Thanks for the attention!
