Hi Sterling and List,

I'd like to add a terrific link by Petr Scheirich on the subject of
asteroids:

<http://sajri.astronomy.cz/asteroidgroups/groups.htm>

A tremendous amount of work went into this site, and while much of
what's here will be over the heads of all but asteroid orbit
specialists, the graphics should be intriguing. In particular,
people should check out the animation showing Hildas and Trojans
orbiting the sun, and then take a look at the same two groups in
the Jupiter co-orbiting frame.

If you want to see a list of all the currently named asteroids, you
can find it here with an alphabetic index:

http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/iau/lists/MPNames.html

One of the more recent additions is the naming of (25924) -- check
under the letter "D".

A complete list of asteroid finders (in order of the number of their
discoveries that are formally numbered) is here:

http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/iau/lists/MPDiscsNum.html

At present, I'm tied for 315th! ;-)

Cheers,
Rob
