Hello List,

Tom and I need your help and I think this is the first time I ask
the List a favor like that. You will remember Tom's "Hup?-like"
sell of his Franconia slice with that really nice metal inclusion.

I am the winner of the 6.9-gram slice and wanted to send him
the due amount via PayPal. We all know that Tom's financial
situation is not rosy and he only has a personal paypal account
that will not let him take credit card payments.

The problem is that he would have to upgrade to a premier or business
account but in that case the PayPal folks would charge him for every
transaction he does. Of course, he doesn't not sell enough to upgrade
to a business account.

Would anyone who has a PayPal account, who lives in Arizona, and not
too far away from Kingman be willing to circumvent these problems by
accepting my payment to them on behalf of Tom and then send that
sum to Tom's bank account or as cash directly to him via mail?

I could send him cash in an envelope but those on this list from whom
I have already bought meteorites will know that I don't want to keep
people waiting for their money and I usually pay instantly, even before
I have my meteorites in my mailbox.

Let's keep this PRIVATE so, please, respond off-list if you think that
you are the one who could and would help. No hate mails, please, as we
have had enough of them lately and like Terry (StarMeteorites) I am
absolutely loath to have any more of these.

It would suffice if you wrote: "Yes, I would", it is not necessary to
tell me you wouldn't and why you wouldn't ;-)

Oh, yes, I also know about bank transfers but they are very expensive
and PayPal is really one of the most convenient ways to send money!

Best to all,

Bernd

P.S.: My family and I will be out of town from May 12 till May 17, so no
computer(s), no emails, no meteorites, no Meteorite List (Oh boy, how
will I survive ...? ;-)
