SiO2-rich phases have been found in Julesburg (L3.6) olivines and pyroxenes and a large (> 4.5 x7 x 4 mm) igneous-textured clast in the Bovedy chondrite (L3.7) is notable for its high bulk SiO2 content (about 57.5 wt%).
