"Nemesis", Sol's yet undiscovered dark sister preturbing the the Oort Cloud?
That was one theory put forth in the 80's and early 90's when a 28 my
"extinction cycle" was proposed following the acceptance of the Alverez's
Impact theory. Excuse my rambling on for fun and excitement (ever the
cataclymist)
