Would someone translate this pedantic prose of mine to the person asking this question? If he would actually study more than parasitically post, he'd likely understand, after 6 years in the hobby, that the "TKW" for this material will likely never be calculated as this is a portion of a huge fall already in the books so to speak. It also does not pertain the material available in institutions/collections for study or statistical analysis. Ergo-- asking "how much of this slicated material was found" or " how much is available to hack up" or "In what size object was this silicated material discovered ?"are more honest and germane ways of phrasing the question. Otherwise, someone(s) might get the impression that someone else is clueless. This application of TWK is another bastardization of scientifically significant data right up there with...(ahem) "Main Mass". They are not inventions for collectors to brag about, IMHO. (sigh) E.J. P.S. Google is your friend P.P.S. Can anyone still be classified as a rookie after 6-7 years in the major league? Received on Thu 02 Jun 2005 04:21:13 PM PDT |
