Date: Mon Jan 10 12:40:01 2005 Message-ID: <BAY4-F1627C52A64A4D76239DE9BB3960_at_phx.gbl> Paper: The Lethbridge Herald City: Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Date: Saturday, March 5, 1960 Page: 2 Meteorite Recovered By Farmer Edmonton (CP) - Nick Broda, a farmer who lives eight miles north of Bruderheim, 34 miles northeast of Edmonton, said Friday he thinks he has found a piece of a meteorite. His finding followed earlier reports of a meteor flaming through the sky in that area of the province. Mr. Broda said the piece of rock he found in his front yard Friday weighed about one pound, was grey and charred. He said it is speckled in silver and gold. The rock is being sent to the University of Alberta here.
