There was no middle finger, you are blowing this so far out of proportion it isn't even funny. Give it up already. Anyone who wants a friggin free email account can get one. This is the most ludicrous thread I have seen on so many years on this list. Hey friends, I have a source for free Viagra and $32,000,000 that needs a volunteer to get it out of Nigeria for 50%! I will offer this to all of you, my friends. Michael Farmer Thank god I will be two weeks hunting meteorites in Oman come Friday, no emails, none of this garbage to wade though. See you all in Tucson. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Darren Garrison" <cynapse_at_charter.net> To: <meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 1:11 PM Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] gmails On Wed, 5 Jan 2005 11:09:58 -0700, "Michael Farmer" <meteoritehunter_at_comcast.net> wrote: >Still, we come to the question, what does 1 gig free space have to do with >meteorites? >About the same as free pet food, nothing. >Take it to a google free gemail mailing list. I would assume it is because those people concider people on this list to be a peer group of "friends"-- and since they concider Gmail accounts to be something of limited availability (they are-- you have to be given one by someone who already has one) and of value (again, 1 gigabite of storage for those who aren't concerned about tinfoil-hat big brother paranoia) and whish to make them available to their "friends". As-- you know-- a friendly gesture. They simply weren't expecting to get a different gesture in return-- a hearty middle finger from you. But you know what they say-- no good deed goes unpunished. ______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list Received on Wed 05 Jan 2005 05:02:42 PM PST |
