It's an iron sulfide much like pyrrhotite but only found in meteorites. The iron sulfide is formed from the iron in combination with sulfur from sulfur containing minerals. You will probably get a more technical explanation from some of the list members. I'm sure they will know what you're talking about but you might want to correct the spelling.
