Hello Darren, Pete, J?rn and List, "... my opinion this is a fraud. This sphere rather looks like some terrestrial ore." My guess is that what the seller is offering is a (partially corroded) Nantan (IIICD). "partially corroded" ... this would explain the lower than expected density of the item offered. We all know what the ultimate fate of most Nantans is, so the "big eye" or the interior of the sphere might be a corrosion product. Any further comments? Best regards, Bernd ______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list Received on Tue 09 Aug 2005 05:20:04 PM PDT |
