Nearly $200,000 per person for a 3-4 hour flight, a brief view of the curvature of the horizon, and only 4 minutes of weightlessness! I don't know that I'd risk my money OR my life for a mere teaser. Think I'll just wait another decade or so and catch an economy shuttle ($360 coach) up to a low-earth-orbit Holiday Inn. :) In a message dated 9/28/2004 3:32:46 PM Eastern Daylight Time, "Notkin" <geoking_at_notkin.net> writes: >Dear Listees: > >Sorta off-topic, but I thought this article from today's London >"Independent" would be of interest to some. > >Richard Branson, of Virgin Atlantic Airways, plans to offer >commercial, non-orbital flights into space by 2007, using technology >developed by the SpaceShipOne team. > >And a hotel in space too?
