Hi Frank,

We studied NWA 1836 before it was even in Nelson's hands at the University
of Washington. Nelson had half of the stone studied at NAU not the whole
thing. All we did was submit a secondary type specimen and claim what we
had as some of the missing weight. If you look at our auctions you will see
that even with NWA 1929 we submitted a secondary type specimen when a
pairing was suspected. Since NWA1929 was not formalized by vote at the time
of submission NWA 1929 was used under provisional status which was mentioned
with NAUs permission. You can check this out with Dr. Bunch at NAU. He
will tell you that we report every find that we intend to sell part of. To
avoid conflict we asked for a new number which has not been made official
yet. He can also vouch for this. All of the weight we brought back was
reported.
