Good morning list.Just throwing this out to all the ILLINOIS,
INDIANA,WISCONSIN, and MICHIGAN meteorite collecters.I will be driving
down to jason phillips house in southern illinois on NOV.,14th
(saturday)to visit and see his huge collection.I will be driving right by
the park forest turn off (rt.30 and rt.57)on my way down to his house.I
was there 2 years ago, and I must say,according to him,his collection has
tripled.Anyway I was wondering if anyone from the great lakes area would
like to go with me(i can sit 3 adults in my car), or follow me down?I will
leave my house at 6:00 am to get to the 30/57 exit.I'll be there around 7
am.I'll either pick you up or you'll follow me from the HOLIDAY-INN in
mattson on US 30.From there we head south 2 hours to villa grove where he
lives. We get there by 9 to 9:15 am and we talk,sell,trade and DROOL over
meteorites till around 1:00.Then we head back.For me at that time it is
more of a 4 hour drive.So let me know if you can make it.I already talked
to jason and said it would be fine.And he said, we'll have a party.That
will be 4 weeks from now.In between I'll be going to CANCUN,MEXICO for 8
days for vacation.I think it will be a blast to see a WORLD CLASS
collection, like jasons.
