Take a look at the Kuiper Belt Home Page. The formation and dynamics of =
the trans-Neptunian region are still poorly understood, but this page =
will give you an idea of what's being studied.


There's also a pretty good book called "Beyond Pluto," by John Davies, =
but it's a little more technical than the web site.
