On Earth we recognize life when we see it, usually. But unless Mars seeded=20 Earth I'm not confident we'd recognize it. Reminds me of a Star Trek origin= al,=20 remember the Horta's silicon nodules? It took a Vulcan mind meld to discove= =20 the secret of that "life".
