It shows 7 Rock Abrasion Tool holes that have been bored into the layers exposed within the crater to enable other instruments on the rover to investigate further. In the lower levels there appears to be a discontinuity where the type of material dramatically changes. The interesting thing about this is that the number of blueberries seems to increase by an order of magnitude in the lower levels. http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpeg/PIA06727.jpg (480KB) Most people would have seen the next photo before- Earth rise from the moon, Apollo 11. http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/pao/History/alsj/a11/AS11-44-6549HR.jpg (489KB) NASA seems to be in the business of changing the way we see things. regards to all chris sharp Received on Thu 29 Jul 2004 07:31:16 AM PDT |
