I wore four layers, was outdoors for several hours and stayed as warm as toast! Loved it in fact. Well of course I'm crazy, but I'm thinking now the Antarctic ice fields would be a piece of cake. Yeah, right..... BTW, the key to my "stay warm" strategy is making thermolactyl the first layer. The underwear of choice for expeditions to Everest and the poles.
