I think we would have to make a cooperation like that in the Space Station in order to meet the requirements for budget and technology share. We would need Russians to put man on bases in the Moon, after all they are experts in very long term space flights. Plus lot more countries to work together...I bet it will be epensive this days..maybe later???...at least I wish to live to see another man on the Moon =) >From: "Mark Langenfeld" <mlangen_at_execpc.com> >Reply-To: mlangen_at_execpc.com >To: "Tom aka James Knudson" ><knudson911_at_frontiernet.net>,<meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com> >Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] OT: MOON TRAVEL? >Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2004 10:25:46 -0500 > >There was talk not long ago that one of the safest and cheapest options >(balancing the inefficiencies of the old "throw-away" technology against >the enormous projected costs to bring a new prime mover to operational >status) would be to revive the tried-and-true Saturn VB launch vehicle >(with 21st-Century stuff up on the pointy end, of course). > >Mark > > > Hello List, Does anyone know if we but a base on the Moon, how will >we get > > there?
