May you and your families be in good health and may chance and happiness rule you lives. Just a short note to let you know that pictures of the new martian meteorites NWA 1950 (Lherzolithic Peridotite) are on line on our site www.meteorite.fr These two rocks are just incredible, this is the first peridotite to be found outside of Antarctica. They are fresher than ALH 77005 and one of them is oriented. With nearly 60% of olivine, it's just incredible to think that like the Earth's peridotites you can touch a piece of the interior of a magmatic chamber from Mars volcanoes !! Sincerely, Bruno & Carine The Earth's Memory LLC France PS: Thank you NASA for these wonderfull images, go Spirit !! Received on Wed 07 Jan 2004 03:24:41 PM PST |
