With all due respect for the people serving in the US army: Most of
them, I believe, do not join the marines because they want to sacrifice
their life for the "cause of the USA" (what's it anyway?), but because
it's about the only chance for the underprivileged to get something like
social security, education and medical care. There's no need to glorify
their service, as little as there is need to ridicule it.

For alot of years alot of good people have given thier lives to help
keep
our great nation going.They did it because they believed in the cause of
the USA.I never served in any of the armed forces because I could not.I
have a hearing problem in my left ear classifying me 4F.Medically
diqualifying me.I am totally deaf in my left ear.And you know I really
wanted go and serve my country.But instead of getting all upset, I just
did what I could to help out where ever I could.I am really proud of all
men and women who have served and are currently serving all over the
world.My heart also goes out to the poor 19 ITALIAN soldiers who died
for
thier country.We are all the same underneath.The only thing that
seperates
us from each other is a border and our prejidous.And to me the latter
has
no place on any world, no matter where you are.Matteo please do not make
fun of any branch of the service.For people who volunteer and are ready
to
give thier lives for our country or any country, to me they are the real
heros.I fully support all our service people wherever they are .And I
continue to volunteer where they need me.To make fun of any service
people
is a direct BLOW beneath the belt.All hail the armed forces of the
UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA, and god bless them all and come home safe!!!!!!!!!!!
