Welcome to the List, Anita! As others have chimed in, you will find
Meteorite Central an unmatched source of up-to-date information about
not only meteorites, but also meteor showers, bolide reports, and a
wide range of related astronomical subjects. In many cases you will
read it here first, long before main stream media reports it.

We are a fairly large group from diverse backgrounds, many of us with
strong opinions (myself included). Occasionally those strong opinions
will manifest in brief, but nevertheless unpleasant exchanges. Try
not to be put off by these -- just delete and move on.

You will learn a lot here, and in learning you will have questions.
Ask away! You may be surprised by how many people will reply...
