The results on tsunami generation differ from model to model, sometimes
considerably. Moreover, it is also dependant on entry speed and composition of
the impactor.

But taking one source (Hills & Goda's modellling, "The breakup of small
asteroids in the atmosphere", Astronomical Journal 105 (1993), 1114-1144), this
indicates that for a 10 yards heigh tsunami when reaching shore at 1000 km of
the source, this corresponds to an impactor body roughly 50-100 yards wide.
