Hi Tom and others,

Morocco is one of the Mahgrib countries at the north western coast of the African continent, whereas the Middle East is rather a political then a geographical term referring to the area situated around the Persian Gulf, including the northern countries of the Arabian Peninsula.

Regarding Braik (from Morocco), I don?t think he wants to scam us, he just lacks knowledge to tell if a rock is a genuine meteorite although he might believe so, based on what he has heard how a proper meteorite should look like.

Its not at all easy for the Moroccans to get hold of educating material referring to meteorites. Language is another barrier, there are not too many websites on meteorites around in Arabic.
