Why is it that new scientists tend to elect complicated and convoluted reasons for things that are so obvious in nature. (could it be journal time?) Just look at the craters on all of those non-atmospheric planets for evidence that we are, and have always been target fodder for any and every piece of floating rock in the solar system.
