Hi Steve,
        Congrats!
        I think that is the newer version of the one I have - I consider it
as good as it gets. Nicon makes a "better" one but it drains batteries
about 30 to 40 times faster. I am delighted with mine and believe
you will find yours a delight. Warning: shoot at the mid level pixel
density - that will give you excellent quality without using your memory
card all up too quickly. On a 128 memory card I get about 80 mid level
photos. That is still enough detail to blow up an individual face in a
group shot and get decent definition.
    If you KNOW you are going to make an 8 X 10 print, you can
crank it up.
        Look foreword to seeing some excellent photos from you in the
future.
