My advice would be to get rid of AOL completely. The problems with that particular provider are countless.

Subject: [meteorite-list] html vs. plain text filter test

This is the plain text version, supposedly, of an aol message. Apparently, the only way to send plain text from aol (8.0), for me, is to not use the integrated email, but to sign on as normal, and then go to the www.aol.com site and use the mobile email center, where supposedly the only option to create plain text exists. Another reason not to sign up for aol. It is a real pain on an already very slow connection. Thanks to the magnificient 9 for the feedback...Saludos Doug
