Sweden - Swedish researchers said on Tuesday that they've dug up the biggest
meteorite ever found in the country.

It took two days to unearth the 158kg meteorite, one of only nine found in
the Scandinavian country of 9 million in the last 100 years.

The meteorite, made up mostly of nickel and ferrous iron, was found nearly
140km north of the Arctic Circle near the town of Kitkiojarvi, in early
September.

It's now in the Swedish Museum of Natural History in the capital, Stockholm,
where tests are being conducted on it, museum spokesperson Jan-Olof Nystroem
told The Associated Press.

The largest meteorite ever found is at the Hoba farm near Grootfontein,
Namibia. Discovered in 1920, it weighs more than 55 tons and has a volume of
9 cubic meters. Scientists believe it hit the ground about 80 000 years ago.
